Triple pane will cost more than double pane windows. Triple pane windows are more energy efficient than double pane windows. They are also more expensive. That extra pane allows for another layer of argon gas, providing more insulation and greater thermal performance. That said, double pane windows can still be good if you live in a milder climate.
